2020 Annual Newsletter!

What a year it's been. I think most all of us could agree on that! We honestly didn't know what this year was going to have in store for us, but with a whole lot of Divine Intervention, it turned out much better than we ever could have hoped for. Thank God for God's plans and not ours! Here's a glimpse of what YOU all made possible this year.......

Many of you might remember helping Nor (the first one to attend college in her family) with her college registry. Because of all of YOU, we sent her off to college with over $675 worth of school supplies and dorm items from her registry. She truly couldn't believe the love and gifts that poured in from people she never met.

This year Milwaukee's Newest Artisans partnered with Goodkind - a local restaurant in Bayview, and what a miracle this partnership has been! The amazing owners of Goodkind purchase the artisans baskets and fill them with tasty menu items each week. What a great idea on their part and we cannot thank them enough!

The artisans sold 336 baskets this year, saved 20,400 plastic bags from going into the landfill, and earned $7,066 with every single penny going straight to them. Badabing Badaboom!

Two families welcomed new babies into the world this year, so we were happy to be able to provide them with diapers and wipes. And let us not forget all of YOU who cleaned out your closets this year. $2,231 worth of clothing and other tangible items were distributed to local families!

In overseas news, the kiddos in Nepal we work with haven't been in school since March. Some of them have been able to participate in online learning but because the internet connection in Nepal isn't always reliable, many of them are patiently waiting for the schools to re-open. Once they do, we will be ready to support them. And once it is safe to travel to Nepal again, we will be on our merry little way!

FOUR of you yet again created Facebook Birthday Fundraisers for us this year and raised a combined total of over $1,235. You have no idea how incredibly grateful we are for this continued support and for making us just a small part of YOUR day.

We know we sound like a broken record, but truly we cannot thank all of YOU for your continued love and support. It is because of YOU that we are able to bring hope and inspiration to those we serve. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
