A Summer of Markets!

Hey friends,

Summer has officially come to an end, and what an amazing summer it has been. The artisans were able to attend 14 markets this summer, 12 of which they attended on their own!  Some of the markets they participated at included the Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Oak Creek, and South Milwaukee Farmers' Markets, as well as the Milwaukee Night Market. A huge thank you to all of these venues for having them and to everyone who came out to support them. They continue to learn how to manage their business and are so far doing an excellent job while growing in confidence. 

This summer the women sold 232 baskets, earned $5,727 for their families, and saved over 13,920 plastic bags from going into the landfill. A pretty stellar summer I would say!
